Shoulder Pain Treatment
We specialise in both acute and chronic shoulder pain using corrective and manipulative treatments that focus on realigning the shoulder, neck and back muscles that become strained.
Osteopathy treatment helps reduce pain and improves posture, movement, and blood flow within the affected areas. Treatment for the shoulder may also include treating the neck and back areas.

Causes of shoulder pain
Shoulder pain is common in all ages. It can be related to poor posture; in most cases, patients who work at a desk typing suffer shoulder pain daily.
We have seen a significant increase in shoulder pain complaints during and after lockdown. Many more people now work from home and do not have access to the correct equipment, leading to people working from sofas or dining tables which are not suitable for our posture.
Other causes of shoulder pain include injury or wear and tear, which can lead to arthritis.
