“Truly passionate about providing osteopathic health care to a very high, and exacting standard. I am currently undertaking various advanced post-graduate courses held by the leading lights in Osteopathy. I have successfully treated patients of all ages including senior citizens, suffering from joint and arthritic pain to elite level athletes, experiencing sporting injuries and individuals suffering from postural issues.

After injuring myself over ten years ago and seeing the power of manual therapy, it led me to study osteopathy and learn the art of treating patients, without the need for ongoing medication and management of pain relief. I truly do empathise with my patients, most tell me that they have just been prescribed pain killers from their GP’s or from A&E and appreciate the personal healthcare plan that addresses the root cause. If you are tired of this vicious cycle of pain management then give our team a call at one of our branches across Leicester.

It is a privilege to be in a profession that allows me to help my patients live a pain-free lifestyle. I am truly grateful that so many patients have placed their trust in me to help improve their health and have a positive impact on their wellbeing.

Osteopath and Physio MSK Specialists in Leicester

Osteopathy and Physiotherapy is a primary health care profession.

Our Osteopaths and MSK Specialists/ Physiotherapists follow a specific method of assessing, treating and preventing a wide range of health problems. Osteopaths undertake thousands of hours of clinical training, understanding underlying pathologies and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions such as sciatica, disc issues, degenerative and much more.

Dhruve Shikotra our principal has worked in both private and NHS as a health professional. During his most recent years he was helping the Glenfield Surgery alongside his private clinic with joint injections and diagnosing conditions advising doctors on protocols needed to help patient treatment and management. Through this his passion for Osteopathy and Manual Therapy increased as he saw that patients were not receiving the care private treatment can offer. Patients were attending clinic prescribed medications for pain relief that they were taking for a number of years which provided minimal relief.

The power of manual therapy alongside NHS physiotherapy is far more effective than just exercises. Patients pain pathways are not being treated with exercise sheets alone, hence the growing number of patients seeking alternative health solutions for joint and muscle related conditions. With the number of patients on waiting lists increasing the problems are forever growing. Our patient centered approach to care and understanding is what makes us differ. We look forward to welcoming you in clinic.
