Neck Pain Treatment

Neck pain

Causes of neck pain

Neck pain is common in all ages and is often caused by bad posture.

Over the years, we have seen an increase in patients with neck pain relating to the use of mobile phones and tablets. Neck pain complaints have since increased again, with many people working from home. Desks and suitable office chairs have been substituted for tablets and laptops on the dinner table, sofas and even beds, causing a peak in patients seeking neck pain treatment.

Sleeping posture, pinched nerve, work-related injury and whiplash are also common factors we see in the surgery.

Neck osteoarthritis, also known as cervical spondylosis, is a degenerative condition that is generally age-related and caused by wear and tear on the neck.
